All-on-6 – fixed teeth on six implants
All-on-6 is an extension of the full arch protocol in which the bridge rests on six implants. More points of support mean better distribution of chewing forces and an extra safety margin for the construction.
How All-on-6 differs from All-on-4
The principle is the same: a full arch of teeth rebuilt on implants, with a fixed temporary bridge delivered the same day. The difference lies in the number of supports. Six implants distribute the load over a larger area, which can matter with strong chewing forces and longer prosthetic constructions.
The choice between All-on-4 and All-on-6 depends on the amount and quality of bone, the shape of the arch and the prosthetic plan. We make the decision after the CT scan — no single method is better for everyone.
When we choose six implants
- When the amount of bone allows more implants to be placed safely
- With strong chewing forces, bruxism or a heavily developed muscular system
- When a longer bridge covering more molars is planned
- When an additional long-term safety margin for the construction is desirable
No additional treatment time
Six implants do not mean longer treatment. The schedule stays the same: surgery and a temporary bridge the same day, roughly 3–4 months of osseointegration, then the final bridge.

A CT scan and intraoral scan show whether six implants can be placed in safe positions.

The position and angle of every implant are planned before surgery.

Surgery and temporary bridge
Implant placement under local or general anaesthesia and delivery of a fixed temporary bridge the same day.

Healing and final bridge
After roughly 3–4 months of osseointegration we make the definitive bridge.

Billing is staged, just as with All-on-4:
Stage I – implant placement together with the temporary bridge
